If you use Windows 7 or 11 on your PC and you cannot install or play a game from nosTEAM follow this:

About the game:
Like BioShock and BioShock 2, BioShock Infinite is a first-person shooter with role-playing elements similar to the previous two games.
As Booker, the player moves about the various structures of Columbia using a grappling hook, a series of railways connecting the buildings called the Skyline, and other transport means to search for Elizabeth.
The player will gain weapons which can be used in numerous ways within the environment, including on the Skyline, to defeat enemies; however the player is only able to carry two weapons at any time.
Booker gains powers and abilities by using vigors and wearing gear that are found through Columbia, the equivalent of BioShock's plasmids and tonics respectively.
Vigors grant activated powers such as telekinesis, electricity manipulation,
or animal control (as seen by the manipulation of a flock of crows within the gameplay demo),
while selected gear are passive abilities that can improve the player's strength or damage resistance.....

I installed the game and the patch and when I try to open it nothing happens. I tried troubleshoot compatibility and tried to open it in windows vista service package 2, it doesn't open and gives me a message saying bioshock.exe has stopped working.

i downloaded the game and had it installed. didnt need directx visual c, or framework because i have all those already but when i tried to play the game it doesnt come up. it says bioshock infinite has stoped working is there a fix for this?

I think I have the Solution to the ( 0xc000142) problem. I had the game working perfectly for over a month then randomly I start getting the 0xc000142 error. I did every possible fix there was. I uninstalled and re installed all the .net framework things I had didn't work. I re installed the whole game and the patch, still same error. I closed my antivirus and re installed again still nothing. I even did the system checker thing in the command prompt. Then I finally looked at my Programs and Features in the control panel. Apparently every search bar cause some problem with the game. So I found a search that was downloaded to my computer over a year ago I uninstalled it and the game worked immediately with no problem. Just keep searching to search bars and toolbars that you did not download and uninstall them and the game should work.

First off, THANK YOU every game except a couple (Which was most likely my fault) works perfectly. I was just wondering if I was able to delete the ^^nosteam^^ file, The file you from your torrent download to install the game, and just keep the file that goes into my game folder to play the game after the installation.

- Update your video card driver,
- install all required software listed on game topic ,
- disable User Account Control ,
- make sure your antivirus is not blocking game files (add game folder to Exceptions),
- install update patch ,
- Run game as Administrator

I've installed the game, patch(which I put in "BioShock Infinite" directory) and made sure I have both DirectX and vcredist up to date. When I'm launching exe file, the process shows up for a few seconds in task manager and disappears. Also an icon is visible in the task bar. Am I doing something wrong? Thanks for help.

I reinstalled the game twice now with the same error, is it a crack problem? I tried replacing the steam_api.dll but it didnt seem to fix the problem.

ok so I downloaded the new patch but now nothing happens when i open the game....

Your antivirus is blocking files due to a False Positive - install update patch with antivirus disabled and add game folder to exceptions
