About the game:
Dead Island: Riptide is an action role-playing survival horror video game developed by Techland and published by Deep Silver.
Although described as a spin-off, the game's story picks up right after where Dead Island left off,
as the five survivors arrive on another island in the Banoi archipelago, where it has also been overrun by zombies.
The group has landed on a military ship but instead of being taken to a safe place, they are taken captive.
Later on, the virus has broken out once again and the ship is compromised.
They fight off the zombies but then the ship hits into some rocks.
The survivors are washed onto the island of Palanai and realize that the virus has reached there.
The island is also somewhat flooded leaving hope drowning in the rising tides.....

i can't get to play co-op LAN even though me and my friend downloaded the patch and used tunngle. There is no lobby on "game lobby",we both have firewall disabled also.

The LAN doen't work we can't connect at the game lobby at all, we already installed the update but nothing changed

You guys never seemed to let us down but i'm running into a problem this time
Me and my wife both downloaded Dead island Riptide and installed the patch correctly (we both have version 1.4.1.1.13)
We turned off ALL of our firewalls, port forwared BOTH of your pc's, Played trough the prologue. We even see both "Multiplayer mode enabled: LAN" (so our setting is set on LAN and even BEFORE we started a new game), tried to run DeadIslandGame_x86_rwdi.exe instead of play-DIR.exe. We also have the same version of Windows (7 pro), man, we even made a freaking homegroup!
But whatever we do, we are not able to find each other...
Help would be VERY appriciated! We can't wait to feel the nostalgia of Dead Island again :D

hi, I download Grant Admin full control and since that time I have a problem in my laptop, it took control of everything if I double click on any folder the command prompt starts like a matrix virus. to open the folder I need to right-click and open. I did reinstalled the game and nothing happened, please help me.
okay so, I downloaded steam_api.dll then placed it on my DIR folder.

Multiplayer doesn't work. Me and my friend downloaded the game and did patch, then we did the same settings "Game Visibility: LAN" and "Game Type: Cooperative" then finished prologue and tried connecting to the game lobby with radmin vpn but it didn't work.
