About the game:
Total War: Rome II is a strategy game by The Creative Assembly and published by Sega, to be released on 3 September 2013 for Microsoft Windows.
Total War: Rome II is set in classical antiquity, and focuses on portraying each culture of the era as accurately and in-depth as possible, as opposed to its predecessor which focused almost solely on the Roman Republic and its politics.
The grand campaign begins in 272BC, and lasts for 300 years.
However, the player also has the option to play further, as there are no timed victory conditions in Rome II.
The campaign map for Rome II spans from modern-day Afghanistan to Portugal.
It is divided into 173 regions, that are grouped into 57 provinces. Provinces are groupings of up to four regions, and each region within a province can be conquered separately.
However, the control of an entire province will allow a player to pass edicts on provincial level, edicts that provide bonuses such as increased public happiness or military production.
Construction options for a province are displayed on a single menu, while public happiness is also province based.
This means that if public happiness drops too low in a province, the most unhappy region will rebel instead of the entire province......

PC System Requirements
Minimum
OS: XP / Windows 7 / Windows 8
Processor: 2 GHz Intel Dual Core processor / 2.6 GHz Intel Single Core processor
Memory: 2GB RAM

Okay so first of all I want to say thanks for what you are doing. Secondly I need help with installing the patches.

The game itself runs okay on my end my only problem was with the animation stuttering I get at around 3 or 4 20x20 battles. So I decided to install patches hoping it would fix this issue. I downloaded the first patch (not in the game folder) and after downloading I just copy pasted it to my game folder and ran it. After installing patch 1 tried opening the game and the loading screens reverts from the Emperor edition background to the original Rome 2 total war background with the resolution at it's lowest and then crashes. I though "hmmm maybe it can't run without patch 7?" So I waited for patch 7 to finish downloading. Copy and pasted it to the game folder ran it and installed. Copied and pasted the crack. Added the lines in the .ini file. Ran it and the same thing as what I mention above happens. So I want to ask if it has something to do with downloading patch 1 in my downloads folder instead of my game folder? Would copy pasting it be different or something? Am I missing files? I hope you guys can help me with this as I really love this game.

On that note will try downloading patch 1 direct to my game folder this time... but will have to uninstall and reinstall the game again.

Forget what I said. I found out my Rome total war 2 was from a different uploader. I was wondering what I kept doing wrong since I did the same thing with FFXIII and I didn't have any issues. *sigh* My brain sometimes... lol

Before i installed the patches the game was running fine, but when i installed them the game would crash everytime i start a battle the game either crashes before i enter the battle, or when i exit it, and it only started happening once I installed the patches, i have all the software and the hardware (I can run GTA V on max on 60fps) so idk whats wrong, i tried reinstalling the patches but it didn't work.
