About the game:
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is a action role-playing video game set in an open world environment.
While similar to the previous Witcher games, Wild Hunt has improved on several aspects from past games.
Combat revolves around an action role-playing game system combined with the use of magic.
The fighting system has been completely revamped.
Wild Hunt introduces some new mechanics, such as witcher-sense, combat on horseback, and at sea, swimming underwater, and using a crossbow.
Additionally, Geralt can now jump, climb, and vault over smaller obstacles.
The climbing mechanics have been described as "not exactly" like Assassin's Creed, but more "similar to what we have in Uncharted".
Item creation and potion brewing still remains as in previous games, but has been modified from The Witcher 2.

Like alyssonlin and Dissia, I'm also at 1.11 and don't want to redownload the whole game. However the 1.12 patch is corrupted (it works fine in the cmd for a while but then starts spewing out a bunch of errors, game doesn't update). Is anyone else experiencing this, and does anyone have a fix?

Hey, uhh sorry for bothering you guys with this but I have a problem with this game.
I installed The Witcher 3 onto my computer after downloading the torrent right?
But everytime I double click the desktop icon of Witcher 3 nothing happens. At all. Leaves me kind of sad to be honest.
If I open up task manager a program actually shows up called "The Witcher 3" but I can't do anything with it.
I am sorry if I am being too vague. Basically nothing happens when I try to start up the program on the desktop.

Delete the older version of the game and install the repack again on a short location on D drive or C drive.

just wanted to say iv'e had some trouble getting into games recently, i either get bored to fast or all together do not like the game, this is the first game in a long time that i actually enjoy playing. This may actually be the best game iv'e ever played, please do your self a favor and download this great game. there's anyone here got a problem from the quest of kings gambit after you chase the culprit???                     (loading sequence) it takes 48 years lol i cant finish the quest because of this.

NoSteam will provide 1.22 patch?? i download 1.22 from GoG but it don't install XD it show me that all was complete install but nothing happend :P

Nosteam version does not register the game after install as a result gog update will fail to install as it is missing registry which is necessary for the gog update to work.
just have to wait for nosteam to make their own version of 1.22 update to suit their version of game.

haven't had the problem u're experiencing. i completed game 6 times and no problems whatsoever with that particular quest.

Some time ago when I played Nosteam Telltale The Walking Dead I was on chapter 4 and downloaded and added the dlc into the game file. I lost all my saves for some reason so I had to watch a walkthrough of the final chapter instead of playing it. I'm afraid that will happen again. I'm playing The Witcher 3 on patch 11 btw.

I trusted you guys and did it. It worked :D Wow the game with the new patches looks so different! So cool! I can tell that the company really cares about their game. I almost feel bad about pirating the game.

i have installed everything from this topic, i have got all DLC and patches up to date and when i start a mission from Heart of stone DLC (mission with Ataman) during the cutscenes i dont have the dialogue... I can hear some sounds from the environment but they characters remain silent... I tried loading the autosaves and quiting game but the problem is still there

This worked for me
Delete the game and install it again. Right click on installer and press "Run as administrator", same with the patch.
Remember after extracting the patch a Command Prompt Window will open, this will patch the game, let it finish what it has to do( will take around 5 minutes )

i have played the game until the part of nithral the boss, i think you can call him the first boss of the game, nithral just dont move and you can attack him until his second phase sort of when he is in like a bubble thing and you cant attack him, i have looked for some solutions the ones i found are saying that i need to verify cache or something and i cant do that on steam since i have downloaded it from here. please answer quick.

i have a problem, basically when i install the blood and wine patch (from version 1.12 to 1.21) nothing is happening, the game is still at version 1.12 even though the patch installation goes right and i get a note that the patch was sucessfully installed.

Guys i am on 1.11 with dlc 16 and hearts of stone installed and i cant update it to 1.12
i tried everything still no luck.

Hey guys! So i downloaded the 1.02 version from this website and it worked perfectly; except for all the bugs that eventually got patched. So i was trying to download the newest version, the 1.21 version. The game isn't opening now... do i have to install patches 1.02 - 1.21 now? Patch 1.30 is the latest not 1.24. If you want to mod, you need to get mods that work with 1.30 or 1.31 non-Game of the Year Edition. 1.31 Game of the Year Edition mods will not work with this NOS patch to 1.30.

It's not NOS, it's CDPR and how they did the updates for the GoTY & non-GoTY Editions, same 1.31 numbers but, different updates that won't work with one another.

After I install this torrent "The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt FULL GAME  + DLC COMPLETE REPACK v_1.21", what patch do I need to download.
Note: I don't already have the game. Downloading from scratch.

Ive downloaded, installed the game and the 3 patches 1 after 1. launched the game and it works well.. story shows up and than the info of the patches i think.
Im pressing on a new game and after pressing load data from the witcher 2 the game crashes, instantly! even if i choose not to load..

i used nexus mod manager and it works great. just need to make sure what version of the game you are using and the versions of the mod that u want to use.  hope this helps

Didn't work.
There was a file called "Update" in the game folder.
I ran that and it installed the patch WITH ERRORS.
The closing issue is now seen with the 1.24 update too.

Also I tried 1.24 again after the unsuccessful 1.22. This time it completed.
But the bugs still exist. for example the images to many objects have disappeared and dialogue screen take forever.
Am goona try to install 1.3 on top of them, hoping the bugged files get overwritten.

Re-installed the entire game again.
Just gonna play it like this for now.
The thing is, I think my problem boils down to that "filewitherror" error that's being seen around.

your problem is...your connection for some reason it stopped maybe for seconds dunno but im sure that gives you an error..had the same problem...try to check your downloading....was install the game 3 days ago and had no problem at all

Hi. I had downloaded your 1.08 version and i decided to download the repack with all DLCs, the 1.21.

I've updated the game to 1.22 , 1.24 and finally 1.30 thanks to your patch.

The game launches and everything, but when i try to load a 1.08 save file, it looks like it's going to work at the first, i get the screen with the story recap but after a few seconds the game crashes. I've tired to load several save files and they all crash whereas they work when i launch the 1.08.

the problem is slow loading between conversations . it started after i installed patch 1.30

I request Nosteam to provide patches in torrents also...because patch files are big it becomes difficult to download without torrent. Many people have unstable internet connection so torrents are suitable for them.

 hello Guys.. got a problem (W 10).. I have installed repack + all patches in the right folders.. now i want to launch the game - click Play The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt and wait for the game to launch itself.... it doesnt .. PC stays in the desktop screen..

i got the game to load but as soon as it goes to start a new game it closes i tired starting the DLC and it does the same.

I have two problems with the witcher, fistly my fps caps at 40 and secondly i have a lot of loading screens between dialog choises as mention above. is there anything i can do? or sould i just wait for a bug fix or something? does anyone have the 1.24 patch on their dropbox or cloud somewhere they can share with me?? Trying to grab it from the uploaded site is a major pain in the ass!! IF it freezes or stalls, then im constantly getting the " you have used to many downloads , try again in an hour" rubbish!! If anyone can help I would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

- install all required software listed on game topic ,
- disable User Account Control ,
- make sure your antivirus is not blocking game files (add game folder to Exceptions),
- install update patch ,
- Run game as Administrator

try reinstalling patch in-game folder and make sure anit-virus did not uninstall any of it

just did that but i still got the error
