Battlefield: Bad Company 2 (Commonly abbreviated BFBC2) is a first-person shooter video game.

I installed the game but when i click on the BFBC2Game application nothing happens. Same with Play-MP-Nexus. Nothing opens. I opened task manager to see if they are just running in the background and they just run for a second and then close.

That seems to have fixed it, thank you. Logged in to singleplayer just fine, multiplayer says it has "failed to log me in" but i guess the servers may be down or something?

Hi nosTEAM I have installed this game and downloaded the patch "BBC2-patch_b914" and patched it too but when i click on the play-MP-Nexus it does not do anything...But when i open TaskManager and i can see the game running in background same for "BFBC2Game"...Am I doing something wrong? I have tried everything that I could do to fix it but I am unable to get the game to run...Can you please help me...Thanks

Following up with the previous post... Also i have tried to run "play-MP-Nexus" twice and i get this error "Some files could not be created. Please close all application,reboot windows and restart this installation. Then i click ok then i receive "Extracting files to "C:\Games\Battlefield Bad Company 2" folder Cannot create dinput8.dll". I have tried to run as administrator for both of the application "play-MP-Nexus and BFBC2Game" but i still am stuck. Please help me Thanks alot.

Thank you guys for the game. The multiplayer is indeed working. But I wish to change the language of the game. Where should I look for in the registry and what should I change there? The tutorials how to do it works only for unmodified version of the game, cause I could only find a registry key with the content: language pair 15 or sth like that. Could you help me?

There is this one server that has new maps, zombie mod, planes etc.
Search on Google "BFBC2 MOD LOADER" and download it.

Anyway.. Im not trying to advertise this mod but server is empty.. I am the only one who plays that server in hope someone will join :(
I think server name is something like "Diesel vs Heico".

Hello. My fps is extremely low (around 50-30 fps in whether single or multiple; low, medium or high setting, doesn't matter) while I believe I have hardware that should be doing much better job than that:

i3-8100
8g ddr4 ram (4g*2 dual channel)
gtx-1660 super 6g
650w bronze psu
256 m.2 ssd (system)
500g hhd

I have the latest driver or anything, and the fact drives me crazy that this game runs even slower than my old intel UHD630.

Any solutions? Much appreciated.

To fix the black screen go see youtube. ( im not allowed to post the link ) so you need to type it manually. Type this on youtube : trouble with black screen in bad company 2 fix
