3).  Go to game folder or installation folder ,Right click to that folder ,"Grant Admin Full Control" ,wait until is done ,install game or play game.

About the game:
Halo 2 is a shooter game, with players predominantly experiencing gameplay from a first-person perspective.
Players use a combination of human and alien weaponry and vehicles to progress through the game's levels.
The player's health bar is not visible, but players are instead equipped with a damage-absorbing shield that regenerates when not taking fire.
Certain weapons can be dual-wielded, allowing the player to trade accuracy, the use of grenades and melee attacks for raw firepower.
The player can carry two weapons at a time (or three if dual-wielding; one weapon remains holstered), with each weapon having advantages and disadvantages in different combat situations.
For example, most Covenant weapons eschew disposable ammo clips for a contained battery, which cannot be replaced if depleted.
However, these weapons can overheat if fired continuously for prolonged periods.
Human weapons are less effective at penetrating shields and require reloading, but cannot overheat due to prolonged fire.
The player or AI latches onto the vehicle and forcibly ejects the other driver from the vehicle....

Hi Nosteam, I always get this issue: The application was unable to start correctly(0xc000007b).

What do I do??? I'm using Windows 10

Oh and I installed the update. Plus reinstalled DirectX however, it won't let me reinstall NET. Framework since its already included within this operating system.
I did install ALL of the Visual C++ Packs. Still same error (0xc000007b).

try hit Alt+Enter to make game windowed then change resolution to fit your desktop

Thank you. I downloaded the game from kickass (exactly the same), but was having the stuttering problem. Installing the patch helped me fix the issue.

For those interested, there is an app you can use to increase the FOV for Halo2. It can be found under H2VFOV in this link :http://www.halo2vista.com/downloads/
Run as admin and adjust the FOV to your preference. Cheers!

Hey Guys, I found a fix for the low FPS issue for the Single Player (haven't tried out multi). All you need to do is use the Halo_2_Launcher and say click yes to run the program.

Then a Log In thing comes up. You don't need to login. Instead click Settings and uncheck the Limit FPS. Hit Apply and then close out of there.

Use the halo2.exe to play Halo 2 with max fps!

Alright but, that thing stand on screen whole time on Single Player. You play game and you have name of this site on screen(white letters) and whole sentence of info that i cannot play online because there is no connection(red letters).

I would share screenshot but links are not allowed.

- Download halo 2 in nosteam
- then search Halo 2 Cartographer then download the Mod Installer
- you can actually download a full game installer too

Hello. I need help with Halo 2. When I start the game, I can't connect to network. It keeps trying and trying and asks me to verify if I have allowed the game to pass trough firewall. I accepted it when I was prompt on the first time I initiate the game. I can't play online. I already installed the patch.
