How do you update the game on windows 10? I've tried everything. Using the sims 4 folder, using the default folder, yet nothing seems to update it to the university update.

Hi, where can i get language pack for this sims 4 ( which includes new sims dlc languagages, cause only one i have found was for island living and older packs)
How do you play other modes? When I selected the university an icon said "connection is required" so I click connect however it wasn't able to connect. Then another icon appeared "Origin has been closed. Some features may not be available." Does anyone know what's wrong?

After I reinstalled the game for the update my mods wont appear in the game. I have made a mods folder and it still doesn't work. Everything else works though. And yes i have enabled mods.

Hay guys I installed the Sims 4 repack the game launches very well no problems there but when I try and play the game with an expansion it asks me to connect to the internet and so I say yes but then it says I couldn't connect and I do have WiFi ? Is this normal or is there some other way I am able to play the expansion packs ? Please help.

Ok, so I remembered I have the Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order game in my PC and I remembered that it is also from Origin. So I copied the OrangeEmu64.dll file from Star Wars, replaced the Sims 4 file with it and now the game runs normally
I just ran that first link path and gives me error. and all my work was lost from before.
someone got marked the patch as a virus? I rescanned it with virustotal and it marked that 15 engines detected it as a virus

1 - Click on the game icon with the right mouse button, then open the file location.
2- delete the DEFAULT file
3- open the game

The funny thing is I tried to move my custom content folder to see if it fixes the writing and windows/doors transparency problem but the game didn't launch. Does it mean one of my custom content (32Gb) helps the game launching ??? I don't know sorry

I actually found the issue almost immediately, ive been working for the problem for 3 hours when i posted this, then i realized the issue, im using a new laptop LMAO, so all i had to do was install visual c++ ( all versions that are not in my computer) and the problem was fixed .
