Game info:
Similar to its predecessors, Far Cry 5 is an action-adventure first-person shooter set in an open world environment which the player can explore freely on foot or via various vehicles.
Unlike previous titles in the series where the player takes on the role of a set character, the game gives the player the opportunity to customize their character's appearance.
The player has a variety of ranged and explosive weapons to fight against enemies,
with the game placing a renewed emphasis on close-quarters combat compared to previous Far Cry titles by introducing a wider range of melee weapons.
In addition, Far Cry 5 features a new weapons ballistics system that includes elements like a bullet dropping over a distance to make it more realistic.
The game also features a recruitment system in which the player can recruit locals in the county to fight alongside them similar to the "Buddy" system used in Far Cry 2 or the "Guns for Hire" system in Far Cry 4.
In this Guns for Hire system, the player needs to convince locals to join their cause at which point they will fight alongside the player.
In addition to these Guns for Hire, the game also includes "Specialists" or non-playable characters with their own unique skills and personalities.
The player may or may not meet them depending on their actions.
The recruitment system replaces the beacon system used in previous titles...

Im talking about when download finnishes, running install exe file takes a long time to load up, same was happening on Win 8.1 when running it as admin only, but on here it takes longer as both admin and without admin, its a fresh installed Win 10 updated and licensed.

Do I have to start the game from the beginning again? because it still only gives me the option to start a new game...

Save problem is Awful, I seen the beginning of this game so many times just tweaking GPU settings. If i go to where the saves are on my PC they are there but in the game they do not show. Except one time it actually said continue and loaded and worked like it should but after restarting the PC it only shows New Game.

go to Far Cry 5\data_final\pc and move all unwanted language files to a backup folder  ,also from Far Cry 5\data_final\pc\worlds to another backup folder

Unfortunately nothing has changed. Actually there was nothing else to download in the torrent.

Save files are in documents but there is in game bug that after restarting PC or doing a manual save it doesnt show continue when you run the game again. So there anything we can do or we have to wait for Ubisoft to do something about it? So you didnt download and install patch? No it will only maybe fix those crashes but will bring you this saving problem. I wouldnt suggest doing anything at this moment, im not sure if new patches will be uploaded any time soon. But make sure you backup your save files you can find them in documents-NST-Saves

I tried this as well as trying to run as admin, tried the patch tried anything. Nothing is working to get this game to save, i even copied a save file past the beginning and yet everytime i go into the game the save file resets or overwrites and only has the 'new game' option. 

This sucks so hard, i like this game alot just from playing for a few hours yesterday and now this. :(

Thank you for all your great work!!!!  Does this game have all the DLC's and SEASON PASS?  Lastly, the Grappling Hook does not work, after you acquire it and use it 1 time.  After that, it does not work anymore.  I am running on a Win 7 x64 PC with an AMD 8500 eight core with 32GB memory and updated graphic card.  Game is hard to play without the Grappling Hook.  Can someone assist?  Thank you.

Ok i give up, i dont understand why the game resets/deletes my saves everytime i quit the game. I did everything you said, check the boxes, changed save paths, ran as admin. Nothing is working. I dont get it. I played up until i unlocked the whole world, made sure it saved and quit to desktop. Restarted, back to new game only option. Ugh this is so frustrating.

For some reason i have high FPS but it stutters quite a bit why is this?

Im not linking the trainer but i was wondering as to why i am using a trainer (far cry +21 trainer) every time it asks me to put the .Exe into the \bin folder the game no longer will run, (im only using the trainer to get more money and infinite stamina), any reason why or should i just use a different one? also how can i get my save i didn't change the NST file from %DEFAULT to my documents, where can i find the save, so i can at-least not have wasted the 5 hours of playing.

Thanks nosteam, game is working perfectly and also with the saves, had to install it multiple times as I kept getting checksum errors every time I tried to install it, I just added a new folder to my desktop and install the far cry 5 game into that folder like I do with all my nosteam games and I would delete the folder if any checksum errors should happen and then add a net folder and try again. Soon as the game finish downloading in my uTorrent, I just right click and stop it, then right click on it again and force recheck it and soon as it finish checking, I tried again and finally got through without any errors.

Played 4 hours of the game when installed, all but to SAVE, quit, and return to see "Start New Game".
Changing the .bin NST file to a different save directory does not work. Please help.

hi, I am in the game and it is brilliant, BUT why is the selling of silver bars not available, I have collected plenty from safes in the county but cannot sell or trade them at the stores, it recommends restarting the game, no way, any ideas.

Hey nosteam... first of all thank you for this amazing game its awesome...I am having an issue here with some crashes the game just crash to desktop without any error message or warning....Im not going past the first cutscene of the game (the helicopter scene) because i get crashes out of nowhere. Ive tried : The update patch of the game installed. DirectX patch installed. Framework for games installed. Visual C++ installed. The game folder is in the exceptions on my Antivirus and im running it as administrator. Any ideas whats happening ? ( i have the latest video drivers too i dont think its a gpu issue )

Hi, I installed the game and played it a bit with no problem, it also saved the game fine, but then I closed it, tried to play it again but it doesn't open, when I try to start the .exe nothing happens, the process doesn't open and no error report pops up. *Edit: I fixed it, it was windows 10 not making it start, I just installed a crack and it's fixed. Not I just have to fix the save problems since there are not my saves anymorek

 Game worked normally yesterday but now crashes after loading. I have no idea what is going on.

Guys, problem is solved:
 - In graphics settings, there is option to set graphic card and it was set to i5 processor 2gb instead of nvidia powerful one and game constantly crashed. When i change it all was fine(after game restart).

Hello, I have a problem with the game..Everytime i go through the first bit and have to chage my clothes, the game crashes and when it reloads im outside of the "vault" and unable to get inside and the mission still states i have to get changed.. Any fixes?

Where are the game saves stored? My game shows me only the button "New Game", although I have played the game before. I wonder where are the game save files.

unfortunately it does not work. I do get the 1.save and 2.save files in the NST_SAVES folder. But there is no option to select "continue playing" there's only "New game". Is there a fix for this?

can someone please explain what both errors mean and why they are appearing instead of running the game, and how to solve both problems please.

I've updated with the patches and also the grant full access via admin by adding the reg file but keep getting a Easy Anti-Cheat window pop up saying : "unknown file version farcry5.exe".

It will go to the splash screen and then say it can't run because of that error.
