Apparently there are a lot of assumptions being made here because all of you are experienced with this site and their methods, this is my first time here and there is clearly information that all of you have that I do not.
Where is the link to the torrent file?
Is the torrent inside the 102MB executable "Fallout4-repack.exe", and if so why is it so massive for a torrent file, is there something more there and if so what is it for, how is it used, or ?

There is so much missing information, and while I am sure there is a simple explanation, there are far too many possible explanations with out any anchoring information there is no real way to determine which one it might be.

I have not located a link to a torrent on this post, just a 102MB executable and Two patch files.  At 102MB the idea that this is just a torrent file somehow hidden in an executable just does not make any sense [w/o more info] as torrent files a relatively tiny compared to that.

Can anyone understand where I am coming from on this, I am VERY new here and so far there is not enough info for me to even know where to start as there is 'seemingly' conflicting information.  There are some things here NOT being said that is being assumed, where I am not able to assume anything as I am not familiar with the methods here.

Jill Kitten

I might be able to infer one other piece of info in an indirect way from your reply,.. the fact that you state that the patches can be applied would indicate that the patches are still required even for the latest version.  So that was Two pieces of info, so thank you for that, now if I could just get some more crucial information that would be great [again to be clear before you assume what I need you should read my previous Three posts].

that exe file is opening a torrent for you ,just make sure you have utorrent installed before run

Jill Kitten

I see, that actually explains a lot, although it seems a silly way to do it [why not just use a common magnet {torrent} file {and it would be smaller}] as the exe is very large for such a simple task [I am guessing since I don't see complaints it isn't doing some undesirable things behind the scenes, that must be some kind of bloatware programming language package they are using].

Thank you, I knew it had to be a simple explanation, but that method I thought would be very silly so I figured it had a small chance of being the case and thus it was more likely something else was going on here, but again thank you for that.

Is this their common way of doing this for all the games posted here [I fig this would be handy to know], or is this the uncommon case? [that is to use an exe to start a torrent]

Ok, so download the 3 files, the 1st executable is for the SOLE PURPOSE of starting a torrent, and then the other 2 are patches you add in some way.  Do the patches have instructions or are they automated in some way?

And just so I understand how they operate here, when they do updates are they REPLACING the original download file(s) so only the latest ones are available, or do they just perpetually keep adding patches, or some kind of combination of both, or ...?

Jill Kitten

Also, since it apparently does not use the windows installation system and there is no obvious uninstall provided, am I to assume that the uninstall is just deleting the folder, or is there some additional locations I have to consider [like save game folders or otherwise]?

When i start the game and get to the main menu(where it says press any button to start) i cant do anything, my mouse doesn't show up, and the game doesn't do anything

Yes. This is the method for ALL the games here.

Correct. Once you complete the direct download and open the file, there will be an instruction that basically says to install it on the "game folder". It's also mentioned in the first page.

Yes, they keep adding patches. Just download and install them the same way every time. You will also read on the first page, on every new patch available that basically says to "install previous patch first", before installing the new ones. Assuming you just downloaded the game.

Hope this helps. Enjoy!

I have seen people ask if mods will work with this...
I doubt the Fallout 4 built in system is a good idea for use in a crack since it may connect to their system and may not work anyway, but I have found that using Nexus Mod Manager works great!
And a person on YouTube named Gopher has some great instructional vids on installation and use.

I am not certain yet but I am guessing that F4SE [Fallout 4 Script Extender] may be an issue since it looks like you may have to launch from F4SE, and this may be different than how this crack launches the game, the issue being that each does not include the other in its launch sequence [this is dependent on if this crack can be launched from the same file that F4SE uses].

Could just try it, but logistically it seems it shouldn't work, but thankfully it is only required by a specific set of mods.

To be sure the builder of this crack would probably have to check this and create a patch specifically for F4SE that would fundamentally change how things are launched to include F4SE.

There are some sweet mods that require F4SE, and I would like to request that the crack creators have a look and make a patch if needed, or at least some instructions on how its use could be achieved.
